Gift Wrapping with Illustrations Including a Pattern

In this post I will show you a very quick and easy idea for gift wrapping. I made the pattern especially for Christmas gifts, but the idea would be the same for other occasions with other illustrations :-).

I prepared the black and white line art illustrations of Christmas toys (the illustrations that you can download below) and then I printed them on labels paper size A4. You can print them on colorful paper and use paper glue to place them on the gift wrapping :-).

The illustrations below were printed on label paper and cut roughly after that.

You can download the .pdf file (and there is a .jpg version if you prefer to) from here below.

Here is the .jpg file.

Here are the steps:

– I wrapped the box in natural paper (light brown), but you can use any sold color wrapping paper that you like. Maybe even patterned paper will be suitable for this projects, for example if you have polka dots pattern. But I preferred to use sold color paper for this project.

– Then I roughly cut the line art from the printed file and placed the elements randomly on the box.
– Finally I added colorful patterned ribbon in red and white.

I used the same images fro creating Christmas toys, I just placed them on a heavier colorful paper and added ribbon hangers. Again the cutting is rough. This can be used for name tag doe the boxes.
